We can provide a cot and high chair. Please ask when you book.
Meals can be provided to order from a full four courses to BBQ cook it yourself. Picnic lunches can be provided. You can eat inside or on the terrace. Smoking is allowed, but only outside. Individual dietary need from vegetarian to gluten free can be catered for.  We provide a range of organic fruit jams and chutneys and can source many other products for meals.
There is a range of local cuisine at Perigueux, St Yrieix la Perche, Lanouaille, Hautefort, Payzac, Limoges and Brieve, and super canoeing at Brantome and even a man made guarded beach at Lac Ruffiac with sailing and its own restaurant.
We provide under cover parking if required for motorcycles and storage for caravans and furniture in our secure barn (see our storage page)
There is a range of activities on the doorstep from horse riding, a day at the races at Pompadour, jazz and blues concerts at Segur le Chateau, canoeing, markets throughout the week, painting and scenic walks tennis at Excideuil, golf and historic chateau’s to visit. For children there is an adventure park, velo rail, canoeing at Brantome where the water is warm and not too deep, swimming and general supervised water sports. If you play guitar or are thinking of starting you have arrived at the right place!
Of course the weather can be very hot and the sun strong. We do have many shady spots to shelter under and you will be welcome to use the umbrellas too. We do live in a farming community so sheep and cows along with birds such as kites and hawks are very familiar. If you stay up after dusk the barn owl might make an appearance.
